- F1 Powerboat Race & Sharjah Water Festival
Sharjah Water Festival takes place every December in Khaled Lagoon within great celebrations of games, acrobatic shows and various entertainments. This Festival is a celebration of heritage that reflects the interest of the Emirate of Sharjah in culture, history and marine life. The Festival program includes a variety of events ranging from musical performances, fireworks and events for children
The grand finale of the week’s long festival is the final round of the prestigious international World Championship Formula 1 Powerboat, Sharjah Grand Prix held in the Khaled Lagoon.
- Cultural Awareness Programs
Sharjah Museums Department arranges monthly cultural awareness programs held on the first Saturday of every month from October to June, at the Sharjah Heritage Museum. The core content covers topics of heritage, Emirati traditions including food and drink, national dress, arts, dance, songs, events and wedding.

- Al Qasba
This is one of the major leisure destinations that embody a number of tourist facilities. Distinguished restaurants and cafés spread on the sides of Al Qasba with areas for recreation and entertainment attractions especially for children.
